April 4, 1975, William H. Gates and Paul Allen create the Microsoft Corporation company in Albuquerque (New Mexico). Its activity consists in developing operating systems and software for computers. In 1981, American manufacturer IBM launches his Personnal Computer (PC) with the operating system MS DOS (Microsoft Disk Operating System) of Microsoft. Today, the operating systems Microsoft are present on 90% of the microcomputers in the world.

August 24 of 1995, the company of Bill Gates founded in 1975, Microsoft, puts on sale its new operating system, Windows 95, at midnight. The media operation with cost 200 million dollars : advertising screens, colors of Windows 95 (orange, green and yellow) on the State Empire, offers of 1,5 million specimens of Times, shows in all Europe... 300 000 specimens will be sold the day of launching and 1 million after four days of marketing. This new generation of software opens the way of personnal computer for all.
